ARTIST STATEMENT
Growing up in the mountains of Northwest Vietnam has deeply influenced how I see and create art. The landscapes and the daily lives of local communities have given me a rich source of memories and observations about culture, labor, and simple moments of life.
My works often focus on images of workers, fields, mountains, livestock, poultry, and the simple elements of rural life. I am drawn to the quiet aspects and subtle movements of society – things that seem invisible but are always there. These images are slowly fading because of urbanization and the fast changes of modern life. They bring a feeling of nostalgia, reflecting both my memories and the transformation of our time.
For me, painting is a way to share my feelings and thoughts about the changes in contemporary life. Through subtle observation and honest expression, I want to show the relationship between people, their environment, and society.
